Born and raised on the West Coast, Gavin is a gregarious man with a love of community and business. Gavin currently works as the Director of Operations at EMBERS, a social enterprise staffing agency in the DTES of Vancouver and 2020 Governor General Awards winner for innovation. As a leader, he is focused on providing individuals with the training, resources, support and guidance to succeed. Gavin has over 10 years of leadership experience in hospitality and non-profits in various roles. He serves as an advisor board member of The Greater Vancouver Board of Trade’s CYP program and chair of the PLF Program.
Gavin holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Langara College and is currently pursuing his Executive Masters in Business at Simon Fraser’s Beedie School of Business.
