Kathleen Cheng​

Kathleen is passionate about community work.  She has generously given her time to the national and international community including the 2010 Winter Olympics, the 2014 Canada Special Olympics, and the 2012, 2013, and 2014 Canadian American International Martial Arts Championships.  At the local level, she was the Chairperson of the École Saint-Sacrement Parish Education Committee under the Catholic Independent School of the Vancouver Archdiocese, and sat on the Little Flower Academy Parents’ Auxiliary Committee, and the Vancouver College Annual Mayfair Committee.  Kathleen is currently on the Board of Directors of the BC Mountaineering Club, and is a member of the University of British Columbia Conflict Theatre planning committee.

Kathleen is the Director Compensation at the University of British Columbia and has over 25 years of human resources experience in recruitment, employee relations, and organizational development

Kathleen is an avid traveller and has ventured into places less travelled such as trekking in Borneo’s rain forest, visiting the archeological sites in Easter Island, horseback riding across the steppe of Mongolia, travelling by boat up the Mackenzie River to Tuktoyaktuk in the Northwest Territories, and glacier trekking in Patagonia, just to name a few.
