Acting Administrative Manager
Wendy is an education management executive who spent 17+ years working in several senior roles at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Wendy last held the position of Assistant Dean and Director of Professional Graduate Programs at the Sauder School of Business before leaving her full-time career at UBC to start her family. Since then, Wendy continues to teach and consult with higher education and not-for-profits. She holds a BSc from UBC and an MBA from Queen’s University. Wendy’s past community involvement includes organizations such as Vancouver Board of Trade and Minerva Foundation for BC. She currently serves on the board at South Vancouver Family Place and MOSAIC. Wendy has been helping to support the Laurier Institution's operational activities since December 2017.
Emma Tang is a CPA, CGA, an accomplished and self driven financial controller at a building material manufacturer. Born in mainland China and moved to Vancouver in 2008, she has over 15 years experiences in accounting and management in the international conglomerates and entrepreneurial businesses. She loves to be engaged in the multi cultural communities and explore the value-pluralism’s social impact. She currently also serves on the board of Vancouver Asian Heritage Month Society. Emma holds a BSc from Nanjing University and an MPA from Sydney University.
