Ciprian Jauca is the Managing Editor for Cochrane Hypertension, the UBC-based branch of the Cochrane Collaboration, a global independent network of researchers, professionals, patients, carers, and people interested in health, with over 37,000 contributors from more than 130 countries. Ciprian is also the Managing Editor with the UBC Therapeutics Initiative, a multi-disciplinary research group based at the University of British Columbia, dedicated to providing physicians and pharmacists with up-to-date, evidence-based, practical information on prescription drug therapy.
In 2008 he was elected as a member of the board of the International Society of Drug Bulletins and is currently serving as the Secretary General of this global organization. He has served as a member of the board of the Association of Administrative and Professional Staff at UBC, President of the Canadian Esperanto Association and member of the board and Chief Financial Officer of the Colibri Learning Foundation. Since 2013 Ciprian has been serving as a member of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Canada, the elected governing council of the Canadian Bahá’í Community. Ciprian has a passion for efforts aimed at building resilient communities that thrive from their cultural diversity.
